Cantor Cohen continues our exploration of different approaches to God and spirituality. The 4-part class will focus first on the works of Rabbi Mordecai Kaplan (1881-1983), an important Jewish thinker and the founder of Reconstructionist Judaism. We will then study modern approaches to our relationship with other religious traditions—how can we engage deeply with other traditions, while continuing to be fully and deeply grounded in our Judaism? Newcomers to the class will enjoy an open discussion with all points of view heard and respected.
